Estate Planning
Many people think estate planning is something only wealthy or elderly people need think about. But if you have family members who depend on you, you should start planning your estate - it is never too early to start. Our estate planning services are designed to offer you the peace of mind you deserve, no matter your age or health, and to help you achieve family harmony as you pass your property to your family.
Although we prepare traditional Wills, Power of Attorney and Health Care documents, we emphasize Revocable (Living) Trust estate plans for most of our clients. If you want an estate plan that will avoid probate administration of your estate, reduce expenses in administering your estate, and keep your affairs more private at your death, we can help you implement a revocable trust estate plan to accomplish those objectives.
Real Estate
We represent clients buying, selling, exchanging and leasing farmland, residential and commercial properties. We prepare contracts, easements, leases and other documents for those real estate transactions, and we examine abstracts of title and provide lenders and clients with title opinions and handle the closing of transactions.
Business & Corporate Law
We represent clients with their business interests, from corporations and limited liability companies to partnerships and sole proprietorships. We help clients purchase existing businesses and start new ones, as well as sell their business interests, using a variety of asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, real estate purchase agreements, leases, noncompete agreements, bills of sale, certificates of organization, articles of incorporation and general partnership agreements. We also help business owners with contract and business planning projects and succession planning.
